Next week, we will be looking closely at your child's comprehension skills. Therefore, this week we would like the children to complete the reading comprehension below. Please get your child to scan and skim the text for the answer as reading the whole text will waste time when it comes to tests in the future. When scanning and skimming, get your child to look for words that relate to what the question is asking for. 

To do list: 

- Read your school book (try to aim for at least 10 minutes per day)

- Practise your 2x, 5x, 10x, 3x, 4x or 8x tables for next weeks times table test (your child will know which one they are on) for next Wednesday's test

- Practise 'week 8' spellings for next weeks spelling test (Friday)

- Complete the reading comprehension into your orange English homework book
