Good morning Year 5! 

 

Fantastic work on prefixes last week – well done!  Today we will carry on with prefixes, focusing on ‘re_ and over_’. 

Remember that a prefix is a group of letters which comes before a root word to alter its meaning. (The word prefix contains the prefix pre- which means before.)

 

This week I have given you a couple of PowerPoints to look through to help with your understanding of these prefixes and you can look back at last week if you need an extra reminder.  Then choose one of the sheets to complete based on how confident you feel.  Take your time, don’t rush and re-read your answers carefully!
