Welcome to week 2! We hope that you have all settled in well to the new term and that you enjoyed fun week last week. We loved seeing what you all got up to and could see that you had lots of fun!
This week, we are going to make a start on the work that we need for our Leavers’ Book in order to celebrate your time at Bishop Ridley. You will each get your own copy and this will be a lovely way for you to reflect on your time at Bishop Ridley and remember your friends with fond memories. So that we are able to put the book together and get it printed on time, it is crucial that you all stick to the deadlines that we set.
Today, we would like you to draft a short personal profile for the Year book. This will need to be a typed short paragraph about you and must be between 100 and 150 words (please don’t go over this number as your work will be cut off). Please make sure you write in full sentences (don't use text speak!) and please do not include bullet points. This is what your friends will read about you in years to come so think carefully about what you want to say.
Here are some things that you may want to include:
Your nicknames
Best friends
Your favourite subjects/ least favourite subjects
Clubs that you’ve enjoyed
Best memory of Year 6
Funniest moment
Where you are going to secondary school (if you know)
As Mr Catchpole is in school today, he will be unable to respond to emails. Therefore, please share your profile with a family member or friend if you would like some feedback.
