Now for something a little bit different!

We've been very lucky as we have been given a year's free access to a website called maths.co.uk, where you can take part in mini assessments online. Before we roll it out across the school, we would like you to have a look at it and let us know what you think.

As we have now finished our work on decimals and percentages, we have set you two mini assessments for you to have a go at on Maths.co.uk. Your class teacher will have sent you your log in details via e-mail and when you log in today, you should see both assessments waiting for you. Follow the instructions for each question and then submit your score for us to see. There is no strict time limit, so take as long as you need and do any working out on rough paper.

Miss Facey is in school today, so Hawking Class only, when you e-mail Mr Catchpole today, please give him some feedback about the website - was it easy to navigate? Did you enjoy completing your assessment in this way?

Good luck and we look forward to seeing how you get on!

Spelling Test

Welcome to your second spelling test for the term!

This week, all of the spellings tests are in the same video and therefore you will need to start the video at different times depending on your spelling group. Please look at the start times below so that you know how far you need to skip through the video. You are of course welcome to listen to the whole video but please make sure that you only do the spelling test for your group.

Please note that Group 2 and Group 3 have the same spellings this week so will need to listen to the same spelling test.

Mrs Donegan's Group- Please watch the video from the beginning and stop once you have marked your spellings.

Group 1- Please skip through to 3 minutes and 28 seconds and watch from there until you have marked your spellings.

Groups 2 and 3- Please skip through to 7 minutes and 10 seconds and watch to the end.

Let's see how we get on!
