This week, we have set the determiners 'a' and 'an' as homework as we have noticed that some of the children are using these incorrectly in their writing.

Grab an item within your home and tell your adult if you should use 'a' or 'an' before it. 

For example: I have a pencil. I have an apple. 

REMEMBER:

The children will no longer do a weekly times table test but a daily test. For the next three weeks, the children will continue to be tested on their doubles every day. They will have two minutes to answer 40 questions. Hit the button and Times Table Rockstars are a great resource to help your child practise.

- Read your school book (try to aim for at least 10 minutes per day)

- Practise your doubles ready for our daily tests next week

- Practise 'week 6' spellings for next week’s spelling test (Friday)
