3. On page 46, what is the "...blooming great huge massive catastrophe" that Uncle Ernie mentions? Why do you think 

    he has used so many adjectives to describe it?

 

4. "And they were making such a din..." What does din mean? Why do you think the author used this word to describe   

     the noise Ernie and Stan were making?
