Please direct all your emails with today's work (20.1.21) to Mrs Lee:      Many thanks.

MATHS: Divide 3-digits by 1-digit

You are now going to extend your knowledge of division to dividing a 3 digit number by a 1 digit number. Note that sometimes you need to use a zero to hold the place for instance 609 divided by 3 equals 203 (there are no tens, so zero holds the place so the quotient remains a 3 digit number. Also, as you watch the video, not how, when we divide, we start with the highest value digit first (this is the opposite to multiplication when we start with the lowest digit)! Good luck and we are confident you will continue to do well independently (but if you do need extra support, please let your teacher know and we can arrange this).

PE with Mr E

Hello Year 4 I hope you are all well and staying safe. Please find below another video to help with improving your basketball skills as well as keeping physically active. There is also a scavenger hunt for you to complete. Make sure you get someone else to hide the objects or you try and find what ever you can from around the house that matches what is on the document. You can try the scavenger hunt as a time trial and complete it in the fastest time.

Good luck and have fun.
