Mrs Davies and Miss Facey have been looking at some extra exciting reading and writing activities that you can do whilst home learning, click on the links to find out what they are!

 

 

Yr1 - Yr 6- The Book Trust have put together a list of activities/suggestions to get children reading. The activities are grouped so that they are age-appropriate and they include reading, writing and lots of opportunities for art. There are also timings for live reading sessions on You Tube which I'm sure that lots of our children would enjoy listening to (I'm sure that the parents would appreciate 5 minutes of peace too!)

Yr 1 - Yr 6- English Mastery have developed a bespoke selection of resources to ensure that students receive the same routine, structure and learning that they would normally benefit from in school. You will need to scroll down to the Primary Section and select your year group. There are a series of workbooks which contain activities for reading, writing, grammar and spelling. Most of the reading activities are based on a book which the children would need to have access to but there are some useful suggestions for quick spelling and grammar activities which you may find useful.
