This half-term our cornerstones topic is 'Superheroes'.

We would like to spend some time studying Nurses (especially with our current situation) and as the Year 1 classes are named after two; we will start with them.

 

Day 11 (inset day)

Please read through the presentation about Florence Nightingale and complete worksheet 1B.

 

 

Day 12

Please read through the presentation about Florence Nightingale and complete worksheet 2A, don't forget your question marks.

Day 13

Please read through the presentation and complete the table (worksheet 3B) to describe the differences between the hospital before and after Florence Nightingale.

Day 14

Read through the presentation about Florence Nightingale's later life and write out some of the facts you have learnt on worksheet 4A. Take care to include full sentences with the correct punctuation and with your handwriting. 

Day 15

Using your knowledge form the previous lesson create a poster with the first aid rules you would have in a hospital. Worksheet 5B or just a plain piece of paper.
