Monday 15 June
Hello everyone and welcome to a new week of home learning
IMPORTANT NOTICE
WE MISS YOU ALL SO MUCH AND KNOW THAT YOU ARE MISSING EACH OTHER. WE WOULD LIKE TO PUT TOGETHER CLASS PHOTOS (THEY WILL BE PUT TOGETHER LIKE OUR STAFF PHOTO ON OUR MAIN WEBSITE PAGE) AND WE WOULD REALLY LIKE EVERYONE TO BE INCLUDED, SO PLEASE CAN YOU EMAIL A LOVELY PICTURE OF YOURSELF IN YOUR SCHOOL UNIFORM TO YOUR TEACHER AND WE WILL THEN PUT THE PICTURE TOGETHER. IT WILL BE AS UNIQUE AS THE TIMES IN WHICH WE ARE LIVING BECAUSE THE SCHOOL CLASS PHOTOS FOR THIS YEAR WERE NOT TAKEN.
This week, we will begin our new exciting topic: Tremors! Last Monday, we shared with you the text running throughout this topic: The Firework Maker's Daughter by Phillip Pullman and we know that some of you now have begun to read the story. If you haven't got the book, there is no need to worry, because everybody will be listening to the story in a series of videos too.
Some of your wonderful parents alerted us to a fantastic live event from the Natural History Museum that explained volcanoes. We hope you managed to watch it but, if not, don't worry because we have added the link to the Museum website below, so that you can find out more about volcanoes (and earthquakes).
