Welcome back to a new and exciting term where the theme is 'Big Wide World! '
We had so much fun last term learning about Amazing Machines. We looked at machines in the home and in places of work and how they help people.
We explored remote control cars and robots and used 2 d shapes to make robot pictures. We talked about road safety, made our own cars and painted roads for them to drive on.
We had a fantastic time celebrating Lunar New Year together enjoying lion dancing, food tasting, drum making and even using chopsticks!
The children enjoyed looking at different types of trains around the world and using stencils to paint train pictures.
The term ended with Naughty Bus paying a visit and getting up to all sorts of mischief driving past the bus stop, grappling with dinosaurs and driving through the baked beans which the children loved!!!!
We have lots of things to look forward to this term and we know the children will really enjoy all the lovely things we have planned.
