After the good start to our new topic last week, we will continue with looking at ways in which we can sort and classify animals.  This week we will be focusing on sorting and classifying vertebrate (animals with backbone).  There is a PowerPoint/PDF to help you: it will explain what vertebrates and invertebrates are (with examples) and discuss the five groups that vertebrates can be split into.

When you are completing the worksheets, I would recommend not putting an answer on the sheet until you are 100% sure that your answer is correct...just in case a later question makes you change your mind!
