WE'VE MADE IT THROUGH ANOTHER WEEK AND...YES...AT LAST...IT'S FRESH AIR FRIDAY!
Today it's just maths and English and then we'd love you to get some fresh air outside (weather permitting of course) and don't forget to send your photos of your fresh air activities in to your class teacher today and we can make up an exhibition page for your photos on our gallery so we can see what each of us have been up to ...stay safe and have a great weekend.
Pupils of the Week & Young Authors of the Term:
Hudgell Class: My pupils of the week are Melissa for the endurance she is showing with her independent learning and Ivy A for her consistency with ensuring that she is completing every piece of the work set on a daily basis and that she continues to work to her full potential, well done and keep up the hard work!
My Young Authors are: Evie and Finley for the consistently high standard of written work throughout this term which is evidenced, not only from the content of their work, but from the neat presentation and correct use of grammar with every piece of writing sent in, well done.
Curie Class: This week I would like to nominate two Pupils of the Week.
I have been blown away by their hard work and effort - Rebecca and Joseph.
Each day they complete their work with a positive attitude and they always try their best. They have completed all of their work to the highest possible standard and have worked hard to complete every challenge we have set. Thank you for putting so much effort into everything you do!
My Young Author Award goes to Bow for the consistently high standard of written work throughout this term which is evidenced, not only from the content of their work, but from the neat presentation and correct use of grammar with every piece of writing sent in, well done.
MATHS
Today we are going to complete a little assessment so that your teacher can see how your knowledge of multiplication and division is coming along. We also hope you are continuing to use Rock Stars (we plan to run a competition Y3 v Y4 next Friday, the last Friday of term, so keep practising and we will let you know if that is possible on the day)!
Please copy and paste the link to www.maths.co.uk into your browser and enter the log in details that were emailed to you from your teacher yesterday (please note that the test will not go live until 5 February, so you will be unable to complete it early, but it will stay open so that it is accessible throughout the weekend). Your assessment should come up automatically (but if you encounter problems, please contact your teacher via email). Good luck, we know you can do it!
Today my lovely Year Four is FFMGV Day = Free From Mrs Gorin’s Voice Day.
A lovely treat for you because it is Mental Health Week.
Don’t worry, I’ll be well rested for more insightful videos next week.
I hope as many of you as possible find the time for a relaxing walk outside.
Please listen to the last three chapters of our current reading book. Enjoy!
P.S.
There is no homework this week Enjoy your weekend, relax your body and mind, look after yourselves and those around you! Take care and stay safe.
