MATHS: Making rectilinear shapes
We hope you are enjoying learning about the area of 2d shapes. Watch the video carefully and pause if you need to and return to the video if you are unsure about a question on the worksheet. Today you will be making rectilinear shapes (a shape that has straight sides and right angles: it can look like two rectangles that have been joined together but is not a basic rectangle or square). As always, do what you can and only answer the questions that you feel confident with and, if you do the challenge question, you might want to use the link below to use the tiles to help you with making the shapes. Good luck and we look forward to receiving your work.
Please watch two parts of my Video, the second video contains a quiz, good luck;-)
Also, I got a bit enthusiastic about your task so I actually told you twice what needs to be done (at the end of each video), sorry about that. I think I am getting really old now;-)
