Maths
Today's maths lesson is all about reflecting shapes along an axis. Again, there is an online lesson with independent tasks from the Oak National Academy and an independent task to download. This is a difficult activity to do just on a computer, so if possible it would be better to print the sheet out so that children can draw the shape on paper using a pencil and a ruler. I know a lot of you may not have access to a printer and I have tried to design my worksheets so that they can all be done on a computer. If you don't have a printer, please do not worry. Some of the sheet can be done on a computer (writing the coordinates) and you can just not draw the shape. Or, for those of you feeling very confident, you could try drawing the shapes using the 'Insert Shapes' tool on Word.
Please do not worry if any of this is too difficult to manage with your equipment at home. As long as the children have completed the online lesson and show a good understanding of the concept, that is great.
