Thursday 18th June

Miss Facey and Mr Catchpole will be meeting (over Zoom of course!) at 1:30pm today to go through and collate your nominations for the Year 6 awards. If you have not yet cast your votes, please send your nomination form to your teacher by 1pm at the latest. The form can be found in the Leavers' Book section on the main Year 6 page. Please also send your class photo today if you have not already done so.

Today we find out more about the discoveries of Isaac Newton and what he helps us understand about light. Read the presentation below and then watch the YouTube video underneath.

How are Rainbows formed?

To round off our week of Reading Comprehension, today's text links closely with your science task for today. The text is all about The Spectrum of Light.

Again, there are two reading comprehensions for you to choose from based on your level of confidence. If you have completed reading comprehension 1 all week, see if you can challenge yourself to complete comprehension 2 today. Remember to look for key words in the question to help you find the answers within the text.

We will upload the answers later this afternoon so that you can see how you got on.

Keep up the great work!
