Week 5 - 4/7/25
Art homework - Due Tuesday 15th July
The children thoroughly enjoyed participating in Roman Day yesterday – learning lots of new facts and having lots of fun. One of the day’s activities involved them being able to view, handle and practise formations with a range of replica Roman style defences. In order to consolidate their learning of this area, we are inviting the children to create their own Roman inspired shield for homework. There are no set rules for this task; the children can be as creative and imaginative as they wish. They can use any medium of their choice including collage, mosaic, painting and construction.
Times Tables
Next week, the children will be moving onto their 5x tables. However, they will also have a few questions each day on the 2x tables and square numbers. Therefore, please make sure they are practising the 2x tables, 5x tables as well as the square numbers, including the division facts.
To do list:
- Read your school book (try to aim for at least 10 minutes per day)
- Practise your square numbers (and division facts) ready for our daily tests next week
- Complete your Art homework due Tuesday 15th July
