Topic - Art

For the next few weeks, we will be studying the famous painting, The Haywain. This was created by an artist called, John Constable. Now as you know, we were suppose to visit Flatford Mill and see what inspired John Constable to create such beautiful, peaceful and soothing art. We have looked at and made our own the Pink Suffolk houses, and now we are be learning how to draw the famous painting ourselves, using various sketch pencils and watercolours. 

However, before this we have to learn about John Constable and why he is a famous English Artist.
