Good morning, I'm sure you can see the activity today is to work through the maths powerpoint and answer the questions. The answers to the questions are on the following slide. This is to support your child's reasoning skills. Once they have answered the question they immediately see the answer, and then discuss how they solved the calculation or what they need to do to get it correct next time. It is important that your child gets the chance to explain their reasoning to the question to ensure it makes sense. 

I have also uploaded a Rock Star 5 min table challenge. This work is optional and only after you have played your turn on Time Table Rock Star today.

Your teachers have been telling me how well you have been doing with your times tables recently, so I have set up a  **TIMES TABLES ROCK STARS - BATTLE OF THE BANDS**

It will run from 9:30am until 3:00pm today and any Times Tables Rock Stars activities you do on there will count towards your class total. 

This is optional, but may be something you would like to do today for your maths.

Good morning 

Today, you will be continuing to add information to your fact File on The Stone Age. Today, you will be concentrating on adding your notes on Mesolithic and Neolithic Britain. I have uploaded some support videos that will help you to learn about each of the periods and you will need to take notes as you go. Please add the information you create to your information report planner (if you printed the template off).
