Maths
Today we will begin to look at fractions. In KS1 you began to recognize how to find 1/2 (a half) and 1/4 (a quarter); today we are going to begin to learn how we find 1/10 (a tenth) and how to count using tenths. In Year 3, you have already been introduced to using tenths when we worked on place value (can you remember how we learnt that 10 pence is one tenth of 1 pound)?
First look at the video, then both of the powerpoints. After that, complete the first easy worksheet and choose a further worksheet from the second set to consolidate your understanding. Good luck!
