Maths
Today you will begin to compare and order fractions.
TOP TIP: if the denominators of the fractions you are comparing are the same, you only need to order by looking at the value of the numerators! For example from smallest to largest: 1/9, 5/9, 7/9, 8/9..... EASY....
If the denominators of the fractions you are comparing are not the same, the higher the value of the denominator, the smaller the fraction part will be because the whole is divided into more equal parts.
For example 1/20 is smaller than 1/2! Can you imagine having to share a same sized pizza with one other person (1/2 each) or 20 people (1/20 each): I know what fraction of the pizza I'd rather have! GOT IT!
One last point! Ascending order is from smallest to greatest and descending order is from greatest to smallest (but you already know that don't you).
