Today we are going to look at how we write a set of instructions because we are going to need these skills over the next week or two when we continue to study some more Greek myths.

We are going to look at 3 short powerpoints.  The first one revises the use of imperative verbs (you may have seen it before when you first came in to Year 3); the second uses time connectives to sequence a set of instructions and the final powerpoint directs you to today's worksheet, on which you simply have to draw lines to indicate where each feature of an instruction is on the instruction sheet itself and send it in to your teacher.   There is no need to write anything at all, we just need to see that you understand the features of an instruction text so that you can write your own later this week.

Good luck!
