Friday
Resources for Monday's Topic lesson. Please ensure you have the resources ready for Monday; we are making Cave Stone Crafting. You can also use playdough, if that's easier.
Maths
Today we are continuing to look at dividing a 2-digit number by a 1-digit number, with remainders (when the number does not divide exactly). Please watch the whole of the video, pausing it where necessary, before choosing one of the worksheets below to complete. D-E Developing-Expected, or E-G Expected-Greater Depth, if you are feeling confident.
English
Your task for today is to proof-read your information text and organise your notes into paragraphs and order them into the right categories, ie, sub-headings; ready for Big Write on Monday. Monday is the day you will write it out neatly without any mistakes, on paper or in a Word Document. Don't forget about your imagines/pictures.
The video has been created but is it still in the stages of uploading onto Youtube.
I have uploaded a Stone Age Glossary Booklet to support your lesson today. You can read it online (just download it) or print it, if you're lucky enough to have a printer or ink!
I hope you are enjoying developing your skills in understanding what information text is - non-fiction factual information, and how to create your own information text?
Have a relaxing weekend and good luck in your Spelling Test!

Spellings
Please get yourself a pencil or pen and some paper as it's spelling test time! You could look back to Monday's page to mark them and let your teacher know your score please. Good luck :o)
Science
Today we will be continuing our learning about plants. Can you remember the four main parts of a plant? Can you remember what each part is for? You can always go back to last Friday's page to remind yourself if you need to.
We are doing an investigation today about the function (job) of the stem. Please click on the links below to find out more information about the function of a stem and then watch the teaching video which explains the investigation. If you have been able to get some celery and food dye to join with, then fantastic! Please do not worry if not, I will photograph and explain the investigation.
Finally, the Word document is a template that can be printed, or typed directly onto, to record what we have done today. If you would rather handwrite your investigation then that is fine. Looking forward to seeing your work!
