1.  Page 15.  What is meant by 'the clink'.  

 

2.  The author has used lots of violent words on page 15, such as 'smashed'.  Write down as many violent words as you can find on this page.  Why do you think the author has used these words?

 

3.  Page 16.  'There was a trawler coming in.  It was red and beautiful and there was a flock of white seagulls all around it.'  What is a trawler?  Why do you think there were seagulls around it?
