Maths

We have loved looking at your photos that show you baking and cooking.  Yesterday you looked at how capacity is measured, today we are going to look at how we measure mass (weight).  If you've been cooking at home, you have probably been measuring capacity and mass to make sure you have the correct amount of ingredients.

Look at a selection of the videos on the Espresso website link to show you how to read the increments on a scale and to help you estimate and distinguish what might be sensibly measured in grams or kilograms (TOP TIP: just as there are one thousand millilitres in one litre, there are one thousand grams in one kilogram).

After, choose one piece of work to do, depending on how confident you feel.  Good luck and, as always, we are looking forward to receiving your work to see how you got on.
