Thursday 4th March

Dear Curie Class

Today I will be in school looking after our key worker children but please continue to send me your work.

I won't be able to give you individual feedback on every piece of work but please know, I will see it and tick you off on the list which I will send to Mr Keep to show you are still working incredibly hard.

You are doing really well - stay positive and continue working hard!

Not much longer and we will see each other again! YAY!!!

Have a lovely day and enjoy World Book Day!!! wink

Mrs Gorinheart

It is World Book Day and we are going to do something very different and exciting today.heart

We will join BBC Teach or CBBC channel (it's up to you) for a very special Live Lesson aimed at primary pupils to celebrate books and share a story.

This 30-minute Live Lesson, hosted by CBBC's Ben Shires and Bitesize Daily's Mr Smith and tied into key curriculum objectives for Key Stage 2/2nd Level, will be live on BBC Teach and on the CBBC channel on the morning of 4th March 2021 at 11:30am.

More details below your Maths lessonwink

MATHS - Calculate quantities

First WELL DONE everyone...this is our last lock down lesson on fractions (unless the situation changes again) and we will be back in class next week so that we can all work together again! 😁🤞 Today, is very much a continuation of what you were learning yesterday. The key is to know your times tables, so if you see a denominator and you think you know the times tables relating to it eg 1/2 is 2 x table 1/8 is 8 x table etc, you should be able to then find the quantity being asked for by using your knowledge of that particular times table and then multiplying the part by the numerator. We are only asking you to do as many of the questions on the first sheet as you can (only attempt the challenge tasks if you know your tables and you feel confident enough to do so). SEE YOU SOON. ❤👏👀
