MATHS: Equivalent Fractions (Revision 1)

Today we are going to begin to explore equivalent fractions by looking at part whole models (also known as fraction walls or fractions strips). Watch the video and then look at the bar models on your worksheet carefully when being asked to find equivalent fractions (not all of them will show equivalent fractions so make sure you can compare the bars accurately). We have also added an extra video and the link to so that you can experiment by finding other equivalent fractions, we have also added a fraction wall for you to print off. Have a go at the questions you are confident to answer and, remember, if you are struggling independently and need further help, do let your teacher know when you email so that we can help you. Good luck.
