Can you remember what the human skeleton is for? We learnt about movement, support and protection last week, before labelling some of the main human bones. Today we are going to look at animals and understand that they either have a skeleton inside their bodies (vertebrates) or outside their bodies (invertebrates). Some animals have no skeleton at all!
Click on the documents and websites below to find out more. You can then make a table of which animals are vertebrates and which are invertebrates. Maybe you have a book at home that could help you? Or you could look on a children's encyclopedia website (below) to give you some information.
