Class Prayer

 

The School’s Christian Vision: One community, learning and growing together, sharing the love of God.

 

As a Christian school we pray during Collective Worship, before lunch and at the end of the day. There may be other opportunities during the day to pray as well.

 

We would like you all to contribute towards a class prayer that we can say at the end of each day.  You can contribute a few lines or write your own prayer to share with the class.  We then hope to use ideas from different prayers to combine into one class prayer. 

 

There are five different types of prayer;

1. To thank God
2. To say sorry (ask for forgiveness)
3. Asking for others
4. Asking for ourselves
5. Praising God

 

You can make your lines/prayer rhyme as this might make it easier for everyone to remember;

For example:

As we come to the end of the day,

Now is the time for us to stop and pray.

 

This can be presented however you like and you can decorate your work if you wish.  Remember to check your work for spelling and punctuation before sending it to us.  You can type it on the computer or hand write it and send us a picture/scan of your work.
