Welcome to a new week of home learning and we hope you had a wonderful long weekend and that you had the time to enjoy some of the VE Day celebrations.

 

Today, we are going to return to our Topic on Gods and Mortals. We are going to look at the Greek myth about Daedalus and Icarus and then we would like you to answer some comprehension questions.  Enjoy the story!

 

A note to parents: unfortunately we are unable to convert today's comprehension work into a word document.  If you are unable to print the relevant PDF, please just ask your child the questions on the sheet attached to the story and let them answer verbally (the answers are also provided), alternatively, feel free to send the answers in to your child's teacher to mark either as a picture or written on a separate sheet, in the usual way.
