Good morning Year 3! We hope that you are all well and ready for another day. Well done for all of your hard work with the home learning this week; we have really enjoyed seeing what you have been able to achieve. 

Maths

Today we will be learning all about dividing by 4. Watch the White Rose video below, pausing when needed to answer the questions. You might need some paper and a pencil to write down your working out. There is only one worksheet for everybody today. Either print it out or write your answers down on paper, it doesn't matter which. 

We have an exciting Times Tables Rockstars Year 3 Battle planned for today as well. If you are able to join in, the Battle is between Shepherd Class and Diana Class, and will run from 9.00am - 3.30pm. We have put everyone's times tables to 2, 5, 10, 3 and 4 to reflect what we have been practising in school. Good luck and have fun!

Science

We will be continuing our 'Animals Including Humans' topic, focussing on muscles today. Please watch the Science lesson video and then click on the website links below for more videos, demonstrations and a quiz. Your task will then be to show your understanding by drawing a labelled diagram (picture) of how the muscles in your arm work. Finally, could you copy the paragraph from the lesson in your best handwriting, filling in the blanks from the word bank provided.

If you would like to complete any other drawings or write information about muscles too, then I would love to see your work.
