Good morning! Happy Friday!
Shape poems!
Today you are going to be creating your own firework and writing a shape poem about it!
You can be as creative and crazy as you like with the name and design of your firework, then think about what it will look like, what it will do and what makes it special and different! Think of some amazing descriptive words to describe it. Try using some writing techniques like alliteration, onomatopoeia, similes and metaphors etc. Let your imagination roll!
You can create more than one if you are inspired like Lila!
I have included a video to remind you how to create shape poems and some templates in case you are stuck for ideas (but you don’t need to use these). Good luck and have fun! We can’t wait to see what magnificent fireworks you create!
Diana class remember to email Mrs Mason today.
Here is Chapter 6 of The Fire Maker's Daughter again, in case you didn't get a chance to listen to it yesterday.
Isn't it exciting. I'm literally on the edge of my seating waiting to find out what happen's next!
