Week 4- 21/3/25
This weeks homework is based on our new Fractions unit in Maths. We would like the children to think back to their learning within their Year 2 Fractions unit to help them complete the following worksheet.
Next week, the children will continue being tested on their 2x tables but will also begin being tested on their division facts within the 2x tables. Therefore, please make sure they are practising these facts ready for next week.
To do list:
- Read your school book (try to aim for at least 10 minutes per day)
- Practise your 2x (and division facts) ready for our daily tests next week
- Practise 'week 5' spellings for next week’s spelling test (Friday)
- Complete your Maths homework into your yellow homework book (due Tuesday)
Notices:
1, Please could all slips for our upcoming trip be brought in by Monday latest. If your child is not coming, please let us know as soon as possible so we can put a plan in place for them;
2, Next Friday (28th March), we would like the children to bring in their wellies as the children will be coming up with a dance (linked to our music topic at the moment) inspired by South African music;
3, Next week is assessment week, therefore, please could we ask that the children arrive as close to 8:30am as possible as the early morning work is linked to some of the questions that will be in their upcoming tests.
Many thanks for your co-operation and support.
Kind regards
Miss Taylor and Miss Carr
