Week 4 - 16/5/25
Maths homework
This week, the children finished their final unit of fractions, however, some of the children are still struggling to find unit and non-unit fractions of an amount. Therefore, this weeks homework is to practise this skill.
In addition, the children have just started the money unit, therefore, there is an optional money homework this week too! This would be great help and preparation for next weeks lessons
Times Tables
Next week, the children will continue to be tested on their square numbers. Therefore, please make sure your child is practising every day on times table rockstars or hit the button. They will also need to know the division facts too.
For example:
1 x 1 = 1 1 divided by 1 = 1
2 x 2 = 4 4 divided by 2 = 2
3 x 3 = 9 9 divided by 3 = 3
4 x 4 = 16 16 divided by 4 = 4
5 x 5 = 25 25 divided by 5 = 5
6 x 6 = 36 36 divided by 6 = 6
7 x 7 = 49 49 divided by 7 = 7
8 x 8 = 64 64 divided by 8 = 8
9 x 9 = 81 81 divided by 9 = 9
10 x 10 = 100 100 divided by 10 = 10
11 x 11 = 121 121 divided by 11 = 11
12 x 12 = 144 144 divided by 12 = 12
