Week 3 - 20/6/25
English homework
Over the last two weeks, the children have been writing their own mythical narrative but we have realised that the children are struggling to use the correct homophone in their writing. Therefore, this weeks homework is to practise using the correct homophone in a sentence.
Challenge: Can you write your own sentences using the correct homophones?
Times Tables
Next week, the children will continue to be tested on their square numbers. Therefore, please make sure your child is practising every day on times table rockstars or hit the button. They will also need to know the division facts too.
For example:
1 x 1 = 1 1 divided by 1 = 1
2 x 2 = 4 4 divided by 2 = 2
3 x 3 = 9 9 divided by 3 = 3
4 x 4 = 16 16 divided by 4 = 4
5 x 5 = 25 25 divided by 5 = 5
6 x 6 = 36 36 divided by 6 = 6
7 x 7 = 49 49 divided by 7 = 7
8 x 8 = 64 64 divided by 8 = 8
9 x 9 = 81 81 divided by 9 = 9
10 x 10 = 100 100 divided by 10 = 10
11 x 11 = 121 121 divided by 11 = 11
12 x 12 = 144 144 divided by 12 = 12
