Week 1 - 25/4/25
Over the Easter holiday, we invited the children (this was an optional activity) to get creative by designing and creating their very own volcanoes. Therefore, we are giving the children one more week to complete this if they wish.
They have spent this half term learning all about volcanoes in Geography - how they are formed, their key features, as well as the three main types – active, dormant and extinct. This is a great opportunity for them to showcase their newly acquired knowledge.
Their designs are completely up to their imaginations – no set size and no particular materials need to be used.
We would like the children to return these to school on Friday 2nd May, where they will be judged and a winner from each class will be chosen.
To do list:
- Read your school book (try to aim for at least 10 minutes per day)
- Practise your 2x tables (including the division facts) ready for our daily test
- Practise your 'week 2' spellings for next Friday
- Complete the optional homework above.
Reminder
Please remember that your child needs to bring in a empty, clean jam jar by Wednesday 7th May.
