Topic Time!

 

Do you want to get your hands sticky? Do you want to put your artistic skills to the test? Well, now you can! 

 

You are already aware that our Topic this term is 'Gods and Mortals'. This week you have been given the task to learn the story of Theseus and the Minotaur. This is one of my favourite stories because I loved the challenge of The Labyrinth and trying to solve riddles to help Theseus get through the maze.

 

*MAKE SURE YOU ASK AN ADULT TO CHECK YOU ARE BEING SAFE *

This week, I would like you to choose from a range of activities that we thought you'd love to try to do. 

1. Can you create your very own maze, just like the one Daedalus created for King Minos, The Labyrinth. You might even use Lego.

2. Create a collage of the Minotaur Mask or make it out of paper mache. 

3. Create a sculpture using Salt dough - 1 cupful of plain flour, half a cupful of salt and half a cup of water. 

 

You are all so creative and artistic so if there is anything else you would like to create, I am more than happy to add the photos to the website to show off your wonderful home learning.
