This week, we have planned our writing around the book 'The Boy On The Beach'. 

We have also uploaded a phase 2 and 3 sound mat that can be used to assist in the writing tasks. At school we ask the children to tell us verbally the sentence they want to write out (sometime we will help model the sentence to make it  simpler for them to write/sound out or correct a grammar mistake) then ask them to sound and write out each word one at a time using the sound mat if needed. It is ok if you write some words out for them and they copy it down.
