English Homework – due 17.10.25
Today, we have been marking World Mental Health Day (Friday 10th October 2025) across the school, where we have been reminded of the importance of creating space for reflection, compassion and healing.
As a school, we are hosting a Poem and Prayer Competition to encourage our school community to use the power of words to raise awareness and nurture hope.
As such, the children’s homework for the next two weeks will be to spend time creating their own poem or prayer focusing on the theme of mental health, resilience or compassion. They are able to present their work in whichever way they wish to and can be as imaginative and creative as they like.
Winners will be celebrated with certificates of appreciation and selected works will be displayed on the KS1 corridor for the parents/carers to be able to view.
