Maths homework – due in 3.2.26
This week in maths, the children have been learning how to convert between centimetres (cm) and millimetres (mm).
To help consolidate and reinforce this learning, this week’s homework is focused on converting from centimetres to millimetres and from millimetres to centimetres. The tasks are designed to support what has been taught in class and to build confidence with using and understanding metric units of measurement.
You may wish to remind your child that:
- 1 centimetre (cm) is equal to 10 millimetres (mm)
- To convert from cm to mm, we multiply by 10
- To convert from mm to cm, we divide by 10
To do list:
- Read your school book (10 minutes per night)
- Practise your spellings (10 minutes per night)
- Practise your 2, 5, 10, 3, 4 and 8 times tables – using Times Tables Rock Stars
- Complete your Maths homework into your yellow Maths book (due Tuesday).
