English homework – due in 9.12.25

This week in English, the children have been learning how to use inverted commas to represent direct speech in their writing. Over the next week, they are going to be planning, drafting, editing and publishing their own narrative pieces, which will include speech. As such, we would like them to consolidate their knowledge of this area through this week’s homework. Please do not feel the need to print the homework, as we would like the children to copy each sentence out into their English homework books.

To do list: 

- Read your school book (10 minutes per night)

- Practise your spellings (10 minutes per night)

- Practise your 2, 5, 10, 3, 4 and 8 times tables

- Complete your English homework into your orange English book (due Tuesday).
