This term, our homework will be set on a Friday and will be due in the following Wednesday.

We are trying to prepare the children for secondary school, where they receive daily homework. Please support your child by encouraging them to do their homework and ensure it is submitted in a timely manner.

Our weekly spelling test will be on a Wednesday this term. Please ensure that you learn your spellings each week. These can be found on the spelling page.

As today is World Mental Health Day, we are reminded of the importance of creating space for reflection, compassion and healing. This year, Miss Taylor is hosting a Poem and Prayer Competition to encourage our community to use the power of words to raise awareness and nurture hope. This is a whole school homework for the next 2 weeks

• Entries must connect to the theme of mental health, resilience or compassion.
• Deadline for submission: Wednesday 22.10.25
  
  Winners will be celebrated with certificates of appreciation and selected works will be displayed on the KS1 corridor for the parents to see.
