This term, our homework will be set on a Friday and will be due in the following Wednesday.

We are trying to prepare the children for secondary school, where they receive daily homework. Please support your child by encouraging them to do their homework and ensure it is submitted in a timely manner.

Our weekly spelling test will be on a Wednesday this term. Please ensure that you learn your spellings each week. These can be found on the spelling page. 

Friday 12th December - Wednesday 17th December

The children have worked so hard on their assessments this week and we are looking forward to sharing their scores with you on the last day of term.

We are getting into the Christmas spirit with our homework this week and are giving you the opportunity to revise their work on the order of operations (BIDMAS). Using the four coloured pencils or pens listed at the top of the sheet, you should find the answers to the calculation in each box and colour it in the corresponding colour. When you finish, you will find they have made a festive picture!

We have printed the sheet for each of you, so if you were absent from school on Friday due to illness or the Harris banding test, please note that there is a copy of your homework in your tray at school for you (though you're welcome to print off your own version if you'd rather get it done at the weekend!).

If possible, please could you stick your sheet into your book (if you don't have glue at home, please do this in class before handing your book in).
