Dear Parents and Carers,

We would like to thank you for your continuous support this term and we are hopeful that this will continue during the half term and into next term before the children leave us to go into Year 5. 

Maths

As we are fast approaching the Multiplication Check during the week beginning 8th June, the Year 4 team has set up a Times Tables Rock Stars competition for both Year 4 classes to compete against each other over the half term up until Friday 5th June. 

Please make sure your child is practising daily for at least 10 minutes, now more than ever.

Spellings 

Speed Spell will be completed on Friday 5th June (first Friday back after half term). The children have a new spelling list for next term in their reading folders. 

Reading

We have noticed that some children are not reading daily as they should be. Therefore, we urge you to read with your child every day, as this is great practice for developing their comprehension skills.
