Last Tuesday was World Mental Health Day. Miss Taylor and Mrs Coles led Collective Worship where they spent some time talking to the children about what good mental health looked like and how it could be achieved and maintained.
Talking is often the first step in helping us feel better so we have decided to set the whole school the same homework this week in collaboration with ITV's Britain Get Talking, Mind and Young Minds.
All your child needs to do is write or draw something that they are concerned or worried about that will then stimulate a conversation with an adult at home that they trust. This homework will be loaded on to your class page on the website as normal but your child may also bring home a paper copy. It does not need to be handed back in to your class teacher and we hope this gives everyone the chance to have a good 'chat'. If you would like further information, please feel free to use the following link:
If you have any questions, please speak to your class teacher.
Many thanks for your support
