Year 6 Residential - 2019

Day Four.

Wake up, breakfast, blah, blah, blah. IT'S RAFT BUILDING DAY!

Today was the day that all teams completed their raft building, so we ensured that they got the photos each time. When a team wasn't working together to try and stay afloat, they were completing other activities such as: Zip Wire, Sensory Trail, Go Karts, Shelter Building and Archery!

After our activities were complete, we had our final dinner and left for the camp fire. We had no idea that we had such talented rappers! A roasted marshmallow later, it was time for showers, packing and bed!

Day Three!

We cannot believe that we are already halfway through our week together! We have been so impressed by the children's bravery and encouragement of each other during these challenging activities.

Breakfast today was a pile of cereals, pastries, fruits and yoghurts, before splitting into groups and completing today's events: climbing, cooking in the woods, Gauntlet and Aeroball to name a few.

Again, the weather hasn't been particularly kind to us today, but we don't care! We ate our sausage and mash dinner, (with chocolate fudge cake for pudding) and chilled out together with a film, after a long and exciting day!

Day Two

After our first night's sleep, we woke at 7am for a hearty breakfast!

Soon after, we gathered at Camp Square (where every activity starts and ends) to begin our jam-packed day. Groups went to complete tasks such as Jacob's Ladder, Orienteering, the 3G Swing and many more! All groups complete the same activities across the week.

An equally huge lunch and two more activities later, it was time for dinner. The weather hasn't been as kind today, so our evening games were moved inside: crab football and musical statues to name a few!

Time for showers and bed!
