Workshops at Harris Academy

Harris Academy have invited us to take part in their Primary Liaison programme during the Spring and Summer of 2012.
They are offering workshops in Maths, English, Humanities, Music, Art, Science, D.T and P.E.
As the programme involves other primary schools, we are only able to select a few pupils at a time but we obviously hope to let as many children as possible participate in this opportunity. The workshops are mainly for Years 5 and 6, although some are open to younger pupils in Year 4.
Our first group visited Harris last week for a Discovery Maths Challenge Workshop. They were given the task of making a bridge and seeing what weights they could balance on their bridge.
This week there are more children visiting Harris who will be attending a Humanities workshop and a Sculpture workshop.
