Fund Raising
As a Christian school we are committed to supporting charities and other good causes. We believe that it is part of our Christian duty to help those in need wherever they may be. We regularly take part in national events such as Jeans for Genes, Red Nose Day, the Poppy Appeal, the RNLI Lifeboat Appeal and Help for Heroes. We also support charities such as Water Aid, Barnados, Cancer Research, the Samaritans and the Bexley and Greenwich Hospice.
The School Council take an active role in fund-raising by organising non-uniform days, bring-and-buy sales, cake sales, sponsored events and days where everyone wears something of a particular colour (eg. blue for Water Aid). We recently put together more than 150 Christmas gift boxes for the Samaritans to send abroad to poverty-stricken children. We also support the Women’s Refuge in Marylebone at Harvest time by sending them our food collection.
