Basketball at Harris

Eight children from Years 5 and 6 took part in a Basketball tournament at Harris as part of the primary liaison workshops.
The workshop lasted for an hour and an half and they were all quite exhausted by the end! First of all the children learnt basketball skills and then they took part in a game. Children from another local primary school were also there but the teams were mixed and were not inter-school. The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the activity and it was exciting for them to use such a vast full size indoor sports hall. This particular event was led by P.E staff from Harris.
There will be more workshops over the coming months so we hope to give many more children the opportunity to take part in the workshops.
